it's not that marijuana is bad. it's probably pretty healthy for you in some cases. nothing is inherently bad, but it's the abuse, addiction and letting something dominate you that shouldn't thats bad. i really dont know why it's illegal. alcohol and smoking aren't bad in themselves. but it's when an altered state of mind causes a drunk driving accident that kills innocent people, or when a father who is an alcoholic who beats his wife and kids daily, or when someone is so addicted to alcohol they can't live their lives. but alcohol in itself isn't wrong...Jesus drank alcohol all the time. smoking isn't wrong either. but it is addictive, and people can become highly dependent on smoking to get thru the day. smoking destroys your lungs and isn't healthy. in that sense God's temple (our bodies) are not being taken cared for.

things are not inherently wrong, however they can be used for wrong.

so yeah, marijuana use isn't wrong. high society says it is, the government says it is. i think smoking is worse than weed. but the government allows the industry to exist because it brings in so much revenue.

i probably would never try marijuana. just a personal preference. doesn't mean i would judge and condemn someone else who does.
